Dan’s just dis guy, see?

Unlike Zaphod Beeblebrox, Dan has only one head, is from Earth, and prefers to limit consumption of alcoholic beverages to a pint or two of beer. Actually, he much more closely resembles Arthur Dent. In fact, Dan wrote an iPhone app just so he, like Arthur, could always keep handy the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have: a Towel.

Dan was an IT architect at biotech companies, earned a MS in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Washington, and worked at a great data-visualization software company located in the Center of the Universe, which was then bought by a billionaire’s behemoth, and bludgeoned into the shape of a SaaS suite.

These days, Dan lives in Seattle with his wife and whichever of his sons aren’t currently off at school and/or living in Spain, and makes music with Massively Useful, Dans Party, and a couple of cats, who mainly contribute by stepping on keys at random moments.
